Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 22, 2026

This Privacy Policy applies to Keepory, a bookmark app for saving links, notes, and images from your device.

Information you save in Keepory

Keepory stores the content you choose to save, including:

Local storage and sync

Keepory is local-first. Your library is stored on your device so the app can work offline. If cloud sync is enabled, bookmark data, account state, and language preferences are synced to Keepory's Supabase-hosted backend.

Account information

Keepory may create an anonymous session so sync can work without immediate sign-in. If you sign in with a provider such as Google or Apple, Keepory stores the account identifiers needed to authenticate and sync your library.

AI enrichment

When AI suggestions are enabled, Keepory may send bookmark metadata needed for summarization and tag suggestions to a server-side enrichment function. API keys for AI providers are kept on the server and are not shipped in the mobile app.

Diagnostics and crash reporting

Keepory may collect diagnostic logs and crash reports to fix reliability problems. The app is designed to avoid sending bookmark contents in diagnostics, and crash reporting is configured without default personal information collection. A coarse user identifier may be attached to help diagnose sync or crash issues.

Session recordings and feature previews

If you turn on session replay in Settings, Keepory records anonymized screens of your app sessions to help us improve the app, and may show in-app surveys or enable experimental features for your account. Bookmark titles, URLs, tags, notes, and images are hidden (masked) in recordings and are not visible to us. This feature is off by default and requires you to separately opt in after enabling general usage analytics.

Service providers

Keepory uses service providers to operate the app:

Data sharing

Keepory does not sell your personal data. Data is shared with service providers only as needed to operate, secure, debug, and improve the app.

Security

Network requests use HTTPS. Authentication tokens are stored using platform secure storage where supported. Local bookmark content is stored on device for offline access and is not currently end-to-end encrypted.

Data deletion

You can delete local data by deleting the app from your device. To request deletion of synced account data, see Account and Data Deletion.
